Welcome to Work in Progress, my stultifyingly brilliant web page. In
its latest incarnation, there's a rake of stuff no longer extant, primarily
because of its unfunny and/or uninformed nature. I realise that by removing
stuff that's crap or just plain wrong I'm going against internet tradition
but hey, that's just the sort of guy I am.

Interesting news on the tree front, incidentally. A while ago I posted this picture, with a query as to what it was and why it
looked so wierd. Within a couple of days, the noble Fraxinus had informed me
of the fact that it's a willow tree (Salix spp.), and that the noduly things
are caused by beetles.
Is there nothing the internet can't do?
